Question with regards clutch tool alignment

I am preparing to fit a new HD Exedy clutch assy in my SW20.  The plastic Exedy alignment tools described on Ebay show spigot size as 11.9mm.  My Gen2 engine's crankshaft has a hole approx 24.5mm dia at the rear (flywheel end) where there is no spigot bearing fitted.  I understand a spigot bearing is not required for the gearbox I am using. Do I have to fit a spigot bearing just to use the Ebay alignment tool?  Does not seem right to me.  What am I missing?

No spigot bearing, ignore what the listing states. They fit fine.
