Please help I have a SW20 91 that cranks but won’t start and only sparks once chased the issue back to the igniter but that didn’t fix it what’s the next step

Originally the car died as I was driving sputtered and stalled with the battery and check engine light intermittently coming on until they were solid lights and it died like an alternator would but after installing a new battery it cranks but won’t start did the fuel check, fuses check relays and so forth checked for spark and only got one spark then nothing so we followed that one pulse back to the igniter as it was giving off the one pulse like the spark from the lead so swapped the igniter but it’s still not starting I did change the coil pack over a month ago so wouldn’t think it was that next all I can think of is ecu or wiring I need a bit of direction electrics are hard
