If the battery has gone flat the alternator or the battery should be suspect, assuming you haven't left the doors ajar overnight or something else is draining the system or the belt is loose.
That would be the first thing to check out anyway.
Are there any bad oil leaks from the valve cover dripping on to the alternator? That often kills alts.
Before blaming the fuel pump, what about the fuel filter. How long since it was changed?
When checking the fuel delivery system it could be helpful to know that if the car has been standing overnight the fuel pressure in the fuel rail should have all drained away.
Then if you simply turn the ignition on, the fuel pump will
not activate until you touch the starter.If you then turn the ignition key to momentarily engage the starter (without starting the motor) the pump should immediately pressurize the system to about 38 psi.
