Does anyone know how to contact Road and Track?

 Does anyone know how to contact Road and Track? The phone number on google goes to their old address. I'm in WA and looking to do a SMT to manual conversion. I know MonkeyWrench has kits but they're $4K and I've been quoted $3500 to fit it. Can anyone offer advise?

    They've closed up shop. Not sure if terry is doing work in his retirement though.

    Whats involved with doing a conversion? Is it a case of plonking a standard 5 or 6 speed zz box on with the matching ECU or is there a bit more to it than that? (well, the third pedal and clutch guts of course!)

    You can use the same box as all the smt parts are removable, a jap manual ecu as they dont have immbolizer, alittle bit of wiring, changing the clutch fork and all the usual Manual bits!

    Terry used to charge between $2500-$2800 just for the kit! If you want to chat with him, you can do so via Facebook Mr2 Spyder Australia page! And essdub is on there to.

    If you need a kit, let me know. I just put together two 6spd and two 5spd kits and have two of them being installed here at the moment. :)

    I am a new member with a 2000 Spyder that I have spent some time working on, mainly with the rebuild and warm up of the engine (still N/A, and nothing outrageous) and a few other things, however, the car is still 5sp SMT and I find it does not really deal with the flywheel and clutch upgrades that well.  I have used a number of parts from MWR, however the cost of their 3 conversion 'kits', plus GST, plus shipping, plus exchange rate just hurts too much for me to do the manual conversion using their gear.
     
    I have access to a full workshop (courtesy of generous father-in-law) and can do all the work myself, and am seriously looking for the parts at reasonable (i.e. not close to 1/2 what the car is worth from MWR) prices if I can.
     
    Can you let me know both availability and cost of the conversion parts (happy to stay 5sp, as I put a Quaife LSD in it less than a year ago) if you are able to help.

    So, just a followup Post to say that I was able to contact Essdub (aka Graham) who provided a complete manual conversion kit for my 2000 5sp Spyder.  Excellent price, excellent service!
     
    I'm not a trained mechanic, but have access to a workshop.. and have done a bit of work on various cars over the past few years, including a full engine rebuild on the Spyder with some warm up parts.    The manual conversion parts arrived,  and a number of weekends later, including a few emails and calls to Graham, and also a remote computer session for Graham to diagnose a problem with the new manual ECU and immobilizer using techstream  and...   I have a manual Spyder!
     
    This conversion has given the car a new lease on life... it is quicker, more responsive, more controllable, like having a brand new toy.
     
    If you have an SMT (which I guess most of us in AU would have had....)   and want to make the car come alive, or just solve an issue with the aging SMT components, make sure you get in contact with ESSDUB
