Cold start injector runs until the ecu tells it to stop from the coolant temp, how long that is depends on temperature...
Check everything before running it more and maybe doing internal damage... Time for a service; Swap fuel filter, check airflow meter setting, tps, timing, look for air leaks, oil/oil filter, new spark plugs, clean points and rotar in distro, inspect spark plug leads, dump fuel and out new fuel in ($200s)... If you have time take the injectors out and get them cleaned and flow tested ($100).
Also when you have an engine sitting for a long time, there are start up things that need to be done, like a few drops of oil down the spark plug holes before starting, think there is something about priming the fuel .... I don't know all the ins and outs, just heard when you start an engine that's been sitting, there is more to be done than just turn the key....
