he has the same hks manifold but turbo hits the firewall.

Yeah I saw that build
I can't remember - did he stick with the standard turbo?
Mine seems like enough clearance - maybe tired engine mounts give you a bit extra?

Anyway today's progress was modification to the battery tray to free up a bit of space and tidal up the mount for the compact battery. Ha don't to sit in the engine bay to weld it up so definitely a job to do while the engine is out

Which will probably lead to the turbo thumping something under hard acceleration or braking.
