I don't think you have a chance in hell of getting 7k for it if it isn't in mint condition. Post up some photos for the forum members to see, and GLWS!

Even at the adjusted 6thou asking price i think he is dreaming.
But the ad does promise that it won't overheat.

Yeah sorry mate but if it's in good condition for resto, the best you can hope for is 3.5k in roadworthy condition with rego, 2.5k without. Best case. Not much demand for these awesome doorstops unless they've had the hard work done.

To put it into perspective, Mine was for sale for 6k and it's in great condition with very little work needing to be done, factory GZE import never been overboosted. Running great, registered and with a load of spares/goodies. A well sorted car.

The only factors letting my car down is its auto, and the interior is in fair to good condition for its age (i.e nothing hugely wrong, just shows it has been driven for the past 30 years, not preserved).
Took me a few months to find a buyer and I'm still in the process of getting rid of it.

btw the wipers don't stop at the bottom, GZE's don't overheat unless they've been neglected and the supercharger only dies because everyone overboosts the poor things.

Since when do the wipers not self park? I mean, mine didn't until I replaced the faulty wiper control switch.

best of luck with your sale blade, I hope you get the price you want. But I have to say I'm with Maj on this one and would not be prepared to offer much more than the 3.5k mark. If you want to talk more let me know. All the best.
