DDB Overseen the job from start to finish but they used Pryce Engine Reconditioning to rebuild the engine then conducted the reinstallation along with New clutch & flywheel.





Removed engine, stripped, sent off for rebuild, put back together and then asked me to go through a run in process. I done a oil change at 500km, 1500km and 2900km and all the changes were free. Each change included a filter and synthetic oil on the last change. Dennis and Tom decided to replace ignition when it went back together and even got hold of a stack of genuine gaskets like cam seals etc. New oil pump and gave cooling system a clean up.
 
Costs were roughly $1,900. Blokes name is Dennis. Nice bloke so have used him since for my other cars. Hes always happy to shoot the sh!t and discuss plans as well as help get parts sourced etc. Ive used him for a engine rebuild, remove and install on my 1965 Falcon coupe (Top job and XP fords a pain in the butt to remove and install V8's) and they done work on my 73 Corvette as well as my f truck and G6ET. Never been dissappointed and he has helped out with some pretty left field problems.
 
He seems to like jap cars but you'll see everything from the odd ferrari to built 4x4's in his shop. Sometimes even boats.

Had 3sgte rebuilt. He's built a few and sourced parts pretty reasonably. JE forged pistons, H beam eagle rods, race spec bearings, rebuilt the head. Arp bolt kit. Balance, crank was replaced but crack tested prior to use. 
$4,400 inc gst. 
 
 
 
 
My wheels got stolen while at DDB as they were broken into and a couple of cars were done over. Dennis rang me the morning after, told me about it and said to pick any wheel and tyre combo and he would take care of it (Could tell he was pissed about the theft). I had been already thinking about Enkei RPF1 in black. So I told him and asked for a kumho tyre I was happy with. When I picked it up he had put much better Falken tyres on, car was detailed, he had my paint chip on wing touched up and she was ready to roll.
 
Id be using him now if i hadn't relocated to Mount Isa and we are planning on relocating back to Newcastle so once we do, I'll be using him again for my cars and even bikes.
