Got a harness? Even with fixed bucket seats, without a harness I couldn't stay in the seat.

Yes looking at harness the same time. Just not sure about the seats yet. There are some SAAS seats which I don't mind. Just not sure if anyone has tried them.

I've got a pair of these seats in my mr2. From what I gather the shells are made by sparco (from what I've heard).
Even in stock seats , a harness makes a huge difference.

And you take your mr to the track if so where they comfy for what they are.
Yes, mine is dedicated to track time. I'm very happy with them and so is my brother. We share the car. Even without the base cushion, it is comfortable and holds us in tight. We had to fabricate custom mounts to suit us both (6ft tall each)

For the passenger side we used a pre made bracket I purchased.
Driver's side we constucted a custom mount using 5mm x 100mm plate steel to mount on factory mount points. Then using side mounts to hold seat to bracket.
If I remember I'll grab some photos tomorrow morning.

Best I could do without pulling the seat out. Little sketch of the mount I made is attached too. It's effectively 2 lengths of 5mm thick (approx 100mm wide) steel plate with a slight bend in it to match rear mounting points and at the front it has 2 tabs welded to align with the front mount points. I then put a support beam across to keep both sides aligned. The side mount rails then bolt on top of this. It's a little bit of a jigsaw to put in (first base plate, then side mounts, and finally seat). If really need be, I can pull seat out this weekend for proper photos. Car is in an awkward spot to do so during the week. I've also got a spare of the pre-made brackets since I never used the drivers side one if you would like it.

Danti, hopefully this is what you're after. Photo I took after I installed the seats. Passenger side sits a little higher due ot different brackets used.

Mate that's exactly what I want to see. I know there are better brand seats but I don't want to spend a lot money. This will do the job for me. Thank you
