NSW MR2 Club - Upcoming events in March 2016

The NSW MR2 Club will be getting involved in the following Toyota events coming up in March:
 

Al Palmer's Annual Toyota Classic Car Show
Location: Al Palmer Repairs Penrith, Lot 12 Robertson Place, South Penrith.
Date: 12th March 2016, from 12-3pm.
There will be a free sausage sizzle and soft drinks.
There will also be trophies and prizes for the show n shine.
Entry begins at 12, so please aim to arrive around 11:45am.


40th Annual Toyota Nationals
Being the 40th anniversary of the event, this is a big one!

The Toyota Nationals (not to be confused with the MR2 Nationals) is a huge annual event where many hundreds of Toyota owners bring their cars from all over Australia to enjoy a show n shine, motorkhana, drag racing and more! There is also a fantastic social aspect to the event.
Location: Dubbo NSW.
Dates (Easter long weekend 2016):
Friday 25th March = Registration at the Matilda Motor Inn, 231 Darling St Dubbo at 2pm, then Pizza at 6:30pm.
Saturday 26th March = Show n Shine from 9-12 and Motorkhana from 1:30-6pm.
Sunday 27th March= Drag Racing from 9:45-3pm at Wellington airstrip, then Awards Dinner at 6:30pm back in Dubbo.
There is a separate entry fee for each event, but you can choose to participate in only some of the events if you wish. You may even choose to just spectate for all of the events, which would be very fun too!

We will also need to organise accomodation.
The guys from Toymods will be doing an official cruise from Sydney to Dubbo on the morning of Friday 25th of March, and they are more than happy for the MR2 Club to join them. We will need to keep them updated on numbers.
