WTB: AW11 Ignition lock/barrel + key

I'm in desperate need of a replacement ignition lock and key for my -88 N/A AW11 to get it back on the road again. Toyota has stopped supplying them and couldn't even give me an part number anymore but said there's a few different varieties as well to make matter worse.

I've got one on it's way from Singapore claimed to be for the S/C but I wouldn't mind doubling up rather than wait a few weeks only to find out it doesn't fit.

So if anyone has one I'd be very happy to buy it off you for a reasonable sum.

Thanks, even that thing whole could be interesting if it comes to it. Since you've got it loose how fiddly would you say it seems to be to replace the barrel? Just curious as that's what I'll most likely try first.

Removing it was a piece of cake. Now that I've got it loose it looks like mine is slightly different to the one I ordered. The pin that looks it in place is further back (as yours in the picture) than the one I ordered and any other I can find on ebay. That said though there is a mark in the cylinder where the barrel goes indicating an alternative position for that pin so I might be able to drill a new hole for it to fit in if it's identical apart from that.

Here's what mine looks like. Does anyone know where I could source one in Adelaide?

I went up to U-Pull-It to have a look at Toyotas up there. Seems like V20 Camrys have the same ignition lock so problem solved. :)

glad you got it sorted.  you would be amazed at what other Toyota models share the same bits n pieces..

I remember back in the 90's reading an article about the aw11 and they said that Toyota built it from their spare parts bins.. haha

Yeah they're great that way! Just wish the parts unique to it would be as easy to find. Still desperately looking for rear tie rods. Finally managed to source some front springs from NSW. Best option so far for tie rods are UK with expensive shipping and long wait. :(

The springs should hopefully be on their way and I'm stopping by a shop tomorrow who said they could fix up some new bushings for the tie rods (not sure about the cost yet). But if you've got healthy tie rods that might still be interesting if the bushings ends ends up costing a fortune.
