Which Adrenalin Drive?

Hey everyone,

I've got one of "nicer" problems to have, but a problem nonetheless. I was given a Adrenalin voucher (adrenalin.com.au), which was originally for a Supercar Drive day (4hrs - Ferrari, Maserati & Porsche), but they kindly changed it "cash" so I can pick something else.

Problem is.....which should I pick??

V8 racecar drive & ride (6 laps me, 3 laps hot seat)
Abovementioned Supercar Drive
Half day drift school (car provided)
10 laps Formula Ford (just me, so no one to tell me to back off)
6 laps Radical SR3 drive (with instructor on board - dual controls)
4 laps Lamborghini Gallardo

I'm leaning more towards Formula Ford.....because F1 dreams & more time behind the wheel. After thoughts/suggestions, especially from anyone who's done one of the above.

Cheers,
Jay

Id go with the formula ford for the same reasons you have given. I've done the v8 drive in Queensland, and it was over before i got into it...

I have done the V8 laps at the Marulan track and the lambo LP520 and LP640 (not with adrenalin website, that was on an autocross track, which, while fun, felt very short (dat exhaust noise tho!!!)).
The V8 "super" cars were quite disappointing to me as they felt less powerful/ torquey than my 96 cobra (probably geared/ detuned for more casual drivers?), it was still heaps of fun driving them but it was over very quickly. The best part was not the acceleration but the braking which was surprisingly good and the slick tyres made the car stick to the road really well.

Formula ford would be my pick as that sounds pretty awesome...

I did exactly the same Supercar drive that you were originally given.
Although it was great fun, I think some of the other options would be more fun.
I'd choose between Formula Ford and drifting.

There is an extensive build thread for my car here: http://www.mr2australia.com/mr2play/tm.aspx?m=18316

I would possibly go with the Radical or the drifting.

What track would this be at?

I would go with the formula ford. The chances of someone handing you the keys to one in the future would be very slim, unless you have some great friends lol

All at Eastern Creek except the Lambo which is Marulan.

Radical sounds good, but less laps & dual controls is a buzz kill (reminds me of a Learner lesson....lol).

Leaning towards Formula Ford, but the drifting is appealing. I have some track experience but very limited drift experience so think it'd be more of a knowledge/skill gain.

Trying out an open wheeler would be awesome. Formula Ford would be my pick.

    My preference:

1st pick - 10 laps Formula Ford (just me, so no one to tell me to back off)
    2nd pick - 4 laps Lamborghini Gallardo
3rd pick - Half day drift school (car provided)

FFord since you love F1 or drifting as that's always good fun and you get half day (hopefully with lots of unaccompanied time)
Lambo would be wicked but 4 laps it would be over too soon :(
