Any hints - tail light removal and side quarter panel trim

Need to repaint the rear quarter panel of 91 sw20 model. Couple of questions before I start?
Any tricks with the tail lights, hard to get to screws/clips etc?
Quarter panel trim, same as above, trim is in perfect condition so I don't want to damage it?

Tail lights are pretty straight forward to remove, from memory all of the screws are visible with the exception of the ones behind the corner reflector, which you can carefully pop out with a flat screwdriver (cover the tip with some tape to avoid scratches).

Which quarter panel trim are you referring to, is it the bump strips between the rear bumper and the panel?

The rear quarter panel external side trim between the fuel filler and the door. There seems to be a captive bolt in the trim with the bolt behind the rubber gland thing in the side vent? How the heck do u get to that one?
