Shift knobs

Hey guys, I currently need a shift knob for my AW11 and was wondering what other people are running or what the factory one is like?

Also I found this on ebay to suit a hilux and found it quite nice, however not sure if all Toyota threads are the same?

You could just get a universal from ebay for cheap. Huge selection. Personal preference for what you like though.

Yea I had a look at the universals, so many choices, didn't want something to flashy.

I think personally as close to stock is best. I share your opinion, nothing flashy is best. On ebay a british seller by the name of TOP GAITERS BOOTS has a good selection of nice simple gear knobs and the like. The one I plan to purchase can be found here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FITS-TOYOTA-MR2-LEATHER-85-89-AW11-MK1-BLACK-KNOB-COVER-/231158752303?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35d222a42f

Its simple close to stock and suites the car. Hope this helps :)

Need Help Getting Parts, If you know of or have the following please let me know.
Aw11 Stock Blue Dashboard, AW11 Stock Blue gear knob, AW11 SC Front Struts.

I have a lightly used stock AW11 one in black you can have just for postage. They are not the best looking though.
    Same as this one below.

I use a late model factory SW20 black leather knob and shifter now in mine which has a lovely feel due to being quite heavy. You can sort of see it in a photo towards the bottom of the page http://www.mr2australia.c...px?m=71528&mpage=9

You know that's just a leather cover for the stock knob? Not a complete unit.

    Ignore my post then.

Look for something like this, a stock knob. Like what Mr Skylighter is offering.

I'd go for the stock one if it's still on offer. I like the all stock interior feel of most cars.
