ShazStill looking great. No longer the TEQ plates?
427,000?? really? wow & I thought mine was high at just under 300,000.
Are you bringing it to Canberra in October?
Just under 300,000km? *throws hands up* TONS of life left!
I P-Platered mine to 350,000km on the original unopened motor - only tearing it down as it was due for a major service that would have been a little illogical on a motor so long in the tooth. It's a 4A-G not 3S-G, sure, but both are known to be
very stout! You're fffine... :)
MR2 Nationals I presume? I reckon I should! I live on the NSW South Coast these days, so might well have to drag the MR2 up for a holiday. I'll definitely keep it in mind.
..and the TEQ plates? They're actually on a Supra I daily these days. The UBQ plates were only put in place for authenticity's sake; the AW11 has been on club plates for a couple years now...
LumixGood to see you are still lurking. Do you still have the ever growing collection of rims? Rays Engineering Super Volk are one of my fav that you have put on the adub.
The Type-C's were only put on for Classic Japan to save it from essentially going to a party in the same dress three years in a row; rest assured the AW11's go-to shoe are still those Super Volks! A little silly when yep, I still have more wheels than I can poke a bloody stick at waiting their turn on the AW11's hubs. I just can't justify the tyres rotting away when I now use the car so little. Even the RE001s on the Type-C's were riskily coming up ten years old..
