AW11 Ground Control Spring rates

Hey everybody.

OK, I am about to pull the trigger on a set of Ground Control coil over conversions for the Adub. The question is - what spring rates to use. Setting up for occasional road use and track days.
I am thinking 4kgs front 7kgs rear.
I thought about going the no sway bar way but I think that really is a track only option.
What's the latest wisdom?
Pete

    (a bit late but anyway...)
Since I'm the only person in Aus who uses Steve Hoelscher's setup, figured I should add my 2c here.

If the car is only getting "occasional road use" then why not try the no-swaybar idea? Even though mine doesn't get driven much, I do drive it on the street and I've done long distances in it too. The ride is not fantastic but it's not as bad as you'd expect either.

If you do decide on this option, you'll be looking at spring rates around 12kg front and 8kg rear. That's what I have at the moment, but thinking about moving up to 15k/10k. You can scale it up and down depending on what sort of tyres you are using. Wider/grippier tyres equals higher spring rates, and as a general rule of thumb the front spring rate needs to be 150% of the rear spring rate.

Can't really give any recommendations for a conventional setup... just research what everyone else is doing and go with that.

I can't really give you a recommendation, but my old cusco springs were 4k front 6k rear, which was a bit soft in the rear, but the car was supercharged, so 7 would have balanced it out in the rear. If n/a, maybe the 4/6.

Oh and ken - what id and height springs do you use?? I might be able to loan you a set of 14 or 15k springs. I have 14k up to about 25k floating around.

Thanks for the input. The springs are on hold for the moment - I have just had a love letter from the highway patrol that has used up my project money for the moment.
With the no sway bar set up - do the stiff front springs affect the braking? There isn't much weight transfer in standard trim with the stiff front springs wouldn't that be worse?

Doesn't seem to make much difference from what I can tell.
The only problem I have with AW11 brakes is that they're not big enough, so I put bigger ones on my car.

Ah thanks for the offer, but I'd be looking for something to keep rather than borrow. Springs aren't that expensive anyways. I only need to buy a pair of 15k, got some 10s kicking around at work.
