[ACT] Gen 2 3SGTE, exhaust, apexi intake... garage cleanout

Hey guys, have a few bits and pieces I don't need any more and are just taking up space in the garage. All parts located in Canberra, would prefer pickup but can maybe manage Sydney. Open to offers on everything.

1. Gen 2 3SGTE - was in running order before I pulled it out for a 1MZ swap. Has about 100,000 on it. Bit worn out. Was burning a bit of coolant before it got up to temperature. Think it's from the turbo though, which has a bit of shaft play. Was running fine and boosting fine otherwise. Message me for more details. Would suit parts or rebuild but you could make it run as is. Have ecu, loom is stuffed because I cut a few plugs from it for the V6 swap. FREE - Seriously come take it off me

2. 3" ebay exhaust - reasonably good nick, couple of minor scrapes. Also have the 3" dump with a 100 cell cat welded in. Dump is painted with white high temp ceramic stuff but it's a bit scuffed. Comes with backyard special support bracket. Dump is shown in engine pic. Setup has maybe 5,000k's use. Looking for offers also.

3. Gen 2 apexi intake/filter - got this from twos'r'us. I've got the support brackets and splash guard as well as the casting that mounts to the AFM. Cheap also, have no use for it.

I've got a bit more stuff kicking around, if it comes to mind i'll add it here. Hit me up with an offer, I'm not too keen to hang on to this stuff :) Thanks

    Hi Alex

I'm interested in the 3" exhaust but have a few questions about it. How loud was it on your car as I'm thinking of putting it on a 3SGE NA version? How bad are the scrapes on it? Would you take $150 with the cat? I can come and pick them up as I'm in Wollongong.

    Regards

    Hey Manny,

It was pretty loud. I'd say it was over the limit, with an NA it'd be a bit louder obviously. It made a noticeable difference in terms of performance on the turbo engine though, so it was at least worth it for a little while for me. That was without any baffles though, if you got some tip inserts or something it would probably be fine.

The scrapes are fairly minor, just a little one on the bottom corner of one muffler. Hasn't made a hole though. I can get you a photo if you want.

As for the cat/dump pipe, it's made to bolt on to the turbo. If you wanted it to chop the cat out and use it in something else that'd probably be fine. I'd done maybe 500k's with the cat installed, so it's not very old.

In terms of fitment I'm pretty sure the catback section is designed to bolt on to either the NA or turbo, but I'm not too familiar with the NA system. $150 would be fine for the lot though.

    Cheers

Done. Shoot me a PM man, we'll sort it out.

I would have let it go for a case of beer or something :P but it didn't get much interest before and I need it gone. It's just taking up space at the moment.
