Wtb: aw11 mk1a steering wheel

Hi all,

I want to try out a mk1a steering wheel on my aw11. Does anyone have one available?
They are the same as the ae82 twin cam corolla ones but with different text on the horn pad.

Cheers,

They Mk1a wheels are highly desirable, so count yourself lucky to get one that's in good condition and cheap.

Interested what your findings are too. I found the stock mk1b one was alright but upon swapping to a lightweight Nardi wheel, I realised how much dampening the weight of the stock one has.
If the Mk1a one sits in the middle of the two, would be a good practical stock replacement wheel.

Yeah was watching the AE82 one on Ebay but they seem to go for silly prices. I guess they are worth what people are prepared to pay...
If I can get one (AE82 or MK1a) all good otherwise I might try a Nardi deep corn style wheel.
There is nothing wrong with the retro Momo I have on it just interested in trying something else for a while.

I think the main differences are diameter and weight. My Nardi competition is 330mm so it's a little more aggressive than stock, also because it's so lightweight i don't think it would be the best for daily driving on rougher roads.

I think wheel offset is a subjective thing, and you can also play around with it depending on the your boss kit and wheel depth. With a HKB boss and little offset on mine, I find it's hard to get a comfortable legs vs arm placement (more due the AW11 design than anything else I think), but the wheel itself feels like its in the right spot when using stuff on the wheel stalk, like AUTO-DRIVE :)

I really like the leather padded Nardi Gara series.
