Spyder replacement soft top or hard top roof ?-last call for advice B4 I order
Unfortunately I had no reply to my last post on this subject (probably cause i was a new dumass and put it in brakes lol) There are 3 or so options on ebay but the best looks to be EZ-ON ? because of its inclusions in workmanship (water management flaps etc),fitment grantee, warranty and fitting instructions that can be emailed to you. It costs around $600 delivered and other than going to a motor trimmer who will have my car for a few days I think its the best option as I only found 1 from a 2000 model being wrecked second hand and they wanted a ridiculous $800 for a 13 year old roof lol That said i would rather a hard top but don't even know where to start ? anyone ? so if anyone has another hard or soft top to sell, opinion or experience please share it before i order and make a mistake Cheerz

sorry Kiwi have been away for a few days so i couldn't reply thanks i will chase that one up. Meanwhile i went to my local auto trimmers and they want $800 for the soft top and believe it or not $1500 at least to install it lol.(a hard top will be cheaper) so it looks like i have some thinking to do and there is no hurry as i don't leave the car out in the rain and it only has some small holes at this stage thanks for the replies guys

Bad news on the roof - it got damaged being put on or off the storage rack at the vendors. Good vendor though, as he was straight up with me and told me about it before i paid for it and is having it repaired, sending me photos of the repaired roof and offering it to me at a discount. Not sure if i will buy it until i see the photos, as i wanted a new or used roof not a repaired one, because i only want to do the job once. Will let u all know the outcome, but it looks like I'm back at square 1 again, but still appreciate the help given to find this one. cheerz

I have a white hardtop (resprayed from blue) in japan which will be arriving late September. If interested let me know. I might bring in a few soft tops from japan too.

Oh bugger, will be a bonus if it's fix professionally. I'll keep an eye out on anything else. Is the car still drivable with a damaged softop? If so come on the cruise this Sunday!

Unfortunately the repairs were not good. It was hard to tell in the photos but they looked like big out of shape patches on either side of the window so I had to say no thanks. my current roof only has 2 small rips but I unfortunately i can't make the sydney run as I have my daughter sunday but I am sure we will catch up another time man. (I have asked one of the newy guys to say hello to you for me) I am defiantly interested in a soft top on the frame if you bring one in for me dylmrt and will personal msg you my details
