Mr2 spyder replacement soft top roof and leather seat advice please

Is it better and cheaper to buy on eBay and import them from America than to have them made locally ? And if who makes them locally?

Also does anyone know if the smt gearbox shares it's inner parts with the carolla as I am doing a rebuild

    I don't think anyone local makes the cloths for the soft top... as far as I know the gear box should be the same.
