Forum downtime recently

Hey Admin,

In the last week or so, there have been about 2-3 times when I've been unable to access the forum at all from my phone (Android browser), my laptop (Firefox) or my work PC (IE).
Each time, the problem lasted about 1 hour give-or-take.

The most recent occurance for me was this morning.

Rob

Yes there seems to be a problem with the isp as the router is connected though no traffic is passing. A router reboot fixes it each time. The router is new though i don't want to blame it straight away, as it may be a coincidence. Fyi i have already moved email off my server and have plans to host the forum elsewhere too. I'm trying to figure out a solution that gives me the flexibility i need as well as low cost

Apologies for the outage today. The connection was working and outgoing connections were fine though incoming were not. I'm starting to suspect the router. I have installed a slightly different firmware version to see if that makes any difference. If this happens again, I'll put the old router back in to see if the problem goes away.
