Going to 87mm for larger capacity, increased comp ratio as well. Already have 264 Ex cam and 272 In cam, pulling engine down to port heads, balance crank, forged rods etc. I know 87mm is at the limit for the bores, vehicle is just a weekend car that does no more than 2 or 3 thousand kms a year, don't want to turbo it as I want it all motor.

Yeah not much of an increase hey, but it will increase airflow, port velocity and torque at lower revs which is the main aim. Anyway back to the original question, do you know who can supply/get what Im after?

and if you go forged you could also look at custom length rods to change the rod stroke ratio.
I think there was a mob in aus which made itbs to bolt straight onto the inlet manifold of the gen3 once you removed the acis section

Cheers thanks for that, I would use std Toyota 87mm pistons or OEM replacements if I could find them, would go forged if I had to. I know Wossner do a forged 87mm but at 12.5:1 its probably outside using 98 RON fuel safely.

Cheers, if I was 20 years younger I would definitely run with that LOL. I am just looking to build a strong motor without losing too much bottom end and drivability but still a good increase in power when I want to wring its neck.

we have 1 set of 4 pistons, 0.5mm oversized. with rings, $225 set i can get +1mm , but special order, typically 4 weeks most engine reconditioners don't like +1mm cause the block walls get to thin, especially #3 cylinder these are the standard design domed top piston used in late 3SG's
