1mzfe into sw20

I've been thinking about this for a while and would like to get some useful ideas and opinions.. So I finally fought the urge and decided to post here.
I have an sw20 1990 mod with a 3sgte gen 2.. It was fully rebuild a year ago at road and track and has 5000km up .. But I'm bored, I want power I want to be kicked back in the seat , I'm over the 4 cylinder lag but I love the car...

Does anyone have any experience or know anyone that has good advice on using the 1mzfe in my model mr2. Or any opinion on a rough build list to make some good power, i know these question would come up often but i want to do it right .. or as right a way as i can .All opinions needed thanks alot guys

I just bought a 02 avalon with 90,000kms for a very good price at the salvage auctions. I would recommend starting with a whole donor car and going from there.

Headers are a good way to get power out of the 1mz, but youll have to do a bit more internal work if you want alot more power

Do you have any idea on who would be interested in a project like this?? I'm guessing it will cost around 10 grand over the whole process?

Terry from road and track does the 2gr conversion for 10k, so maybe go and see him if you're willing to spend that much.

The amount you spend will depend purely on if you can weld and wire, how cheap the donor car is.

2gr fe. supercharged wont fit. but close to nearly 300hp should be good for what you want

If DIY skills are at a minimum then its probably best to get the conversion done by road and track

I'd like a supercharged 6. It would be ideal. I might have a word with road and track thanks for your input eric

There's a couple s//c 1mz for sale I think, check the for sale section here. It would be less frustrating and probably cheaper to buy one thats already registered and engineered.
