Finally starting to look reasonable
My MR2 has had a fairly tough life. It was originally a turbo racecar import from Japan which had its engine replace with an NA version and was raced in that configuration from around 1998. It found its way to Road and Track around 2000 and with a transplanted 2GR V6 finally found its way into my possession in December 2012. Ownership hasn't been without its share of dramas which seems to be par for the course for MR2 ownership. Some issues needed to be remedied and others I hope are regarded as imrovements. Nearing completion, the most recent changes were made to the bodywork with both front and rear guards rolled and flared by Richard Marat in Mittagong. I can't recommend his work too highly and the end result looks factory or even better. Richard has his own fully restored Torana XU1 racecar.
I have attached a pic of the car post bodywiork changes and will do a full write upon the cars evolution when it is completed in the near futue.
