    Good add, so true. One thing I have learned- if you can't see that the road is clear, or there are other vehicles, pedestrians or especially children or animals (prone to random behavior), drop your speed accordingly.

    I think our "every km over is a killer" adds were BS, they encourage people to focus on the speedometer rather than the road, and imply that doing the speed limit is more important than driving defensively (sometimes the speed limit is way too fast, other times it would be perfectly safe to be a few km over... It just depends on conditions, the road and the car you are driving).

    Our government is more interested in revenue raising than actually saving lives through education.
