Mr2 Track day challenge WA trip

Hi there would anyone from WA be interested in traveling with me all the way to NSW to visit Wakefield Park this 6-7 of Jan? I will be leaving quite early say about the 2nd or 3rd of January. As it will take about 3days to drive there something along the lines of 3800kms or 38hrs so its pretty far. Also nothing is set in stone right now for myself in the end I may not be able to afford it or even get the time off seeing as I'm looking for a job (full time) and telling my new boss that I can't start till later because I wish to travel may not be a good thing. I also wish and hope that if I do and anyone else who comes along we have accommodation at the track, given that the expense of getting there will be enough. Also I will be driving my beloved MR2 if I can get her running by then and that it self is a high risk given that I will be hammering her around the track pushing her to the limits. I know some people will see this as a stupid or foolish thing to do but in the end I'm really doing this for the adventure. So if your interested please look over this http://www.mr2australia.c....aspx?m=90273&p=37 and put a deposit down or pay for it full and get in contact with me.

Also the plan on this trip is to have a swag and drive till I'm either Exhausted or sick of it then pull over and sleep and then rinse and repeat till reaching destination.

I can't due to other commitments, but this would be a great adventure, especially if you've never driven across to the east coast. I was going to buy a MR2 from over east and drive it back, but unfortunately didn't because the car wasn't up the expectations I wanted (Being a possible second MR2 purchase I was pedantic on what I wanted).

Just Make sure the car is running really well prior. Take a spare oil (incase she burns through it more than expected). As long as the car is running reliably prior, I don't see it as a problem.

Enjoy the trip. Take a video camera and make a short documentary to remember it by + share!

Talk to Feral, he's probably got a bunch of advice on which roads to take, best places to stop for a nap and advice on preparing for a 4000km AW11 trip :) Poke him with a stick and see if he will go co-driver with you as well ;)
