Piston and rod combination help???

Ok so it's re-build time for my 3s-gte looking for info on what pistons and rods other people have used and any other info you guys are willing to share about general re build stuff. What head gasket, bearings that sort of thing.

At the moment I'm looking at wiseco pistons, eagle rods, comeitic head gasket and ACL race series bearings with arp studs and bolts. And I have contacted chiltons about the machining.

What are your intentions.  If you are never intending on lashing out on a large turbo and the supporting mods I'd probably opt for Mahle pistons.

Sounds like the same kit as mine.
A few pointer from my own experience, make sure you measure the crank journals before ordering parts to you don't have to reduce the size of the journals based on a set of bearings you bought. Balance the crank with the pulley and clutch/dynamic balance. This is worth the effort.
I guess you will also be looking at the head rebuild too? Put decent bronze guides (Supra ones work)and some decent valve seats plus shimless buckets. these are best sourced in the U.S. for a fraction of the price in Aust.
Also look at some decent valves (inconel and stainless)with a oversize. It can take time to do all this, but its worth the effort as it will handle a lot of abuse.

    Good luck
