1987 AW11 Supercharged
This MR2 is arguably the best MR2 in the world. It has undergone a full and comprehensive back to metal restoration. In an exercise of excess, every component that could be upgraded/replaced has been. Many spare parts will be sold with this vehicle

The vehicle is a rare Factory Supercharged version. My goal with the restoration has been to keep the car as close to factory spec as possible whilst blending modern technologies. This meant keeping the supercharger, top mount intercooler layout.
Interior
Absolutely faultless– everything is new that could be replaced. The upholstery is wrapped in high quality leather with steel blue exposed stitching. The sound system has been upgraded to top of the line Alpine with JL Amp into JL speakers. New carpets , new underlay with sound proofing.
Exterior
All plastic surrounds are new, the front spoiler is new, the eyebrows are new, All logos, emblems and striping is new. The paint is ultra-high end DuPont black with a very subtle blue xeralic. Wheels are King black with anodised blue highlights. Tyres are all new. All rubber seals are brand new. All warning and information stickers/placards are new.
Engine
The internals are forged, the bearings are race spec, fasteners (where possible) are by ARP, the cams are specifically designed and produced for this project by Kellford, the supercharger is a Danish Rotrex with custom designed intercooling by PWR. The water pump is electric by Davies Craig. Ignition is taken carer of with individual MSD LS2 Coil packs. All nuts/bolts/hoses in the car are brand new. Exhaust Innovations sculptured the exhaust to look as though it was factory.
Running Gear
The clutch was designed and manufactured specifically for this application in the USA. The gearbox is in perfect condition with LSD rear diff. All driveline components have been replaced where possible – all suspension components including ball joints, bushes, struts, springs, etc are new. Engine mounts are new.
The front brakes were designed and supplied by Willwood in the USA for this application with braided lines all ADR compliant.
If you are after a magnificent example of this Japanese classic then this is the best.
