E153 Lever Shaft

Hi all,

As the thread title says I'm after a lever shaft for my 1993 REV2 Turbo. I'm hoping someone has a busted gearbox lying around with the selector gear still intact?

Thought I might have snapped the shifter cables at first, but upon closer inspection I've snapped the shaft itself inside the gearbox

Cheers
Gohta

A couple of broken E153's were sold on here about 6 months ago I think. You might be lucky finding that part from the people who bought them.

I got a full stripped E153 box also, let me know what you exactly need.

    Thanks for that .

I need the shaft on the right (circled blue). Not 100% sure it's right, it seems to have the same part number across revisions on ToyoDIY but I'm not sure if that's correct.

I might need to remove it and compare, in any case I'll PM you regarding price.

    Cheers

I don't suppose you have a right angle speedo drive from the gearboxes that are in pieces - I need one to finalise my e153 and 1mzfe into my AW11

^^ rallypete, it would help if you could post a picture of what you need.  I may have one for you.

I have image but trying to send it is difficult.
It is the unit shown in this http://stephenmason.com/cars/mr2speedo.html summary on replacing a speedo drive.
I dont have one - mine is electronic and striaght - problem - my car has a  mechanical speedo and there for I need this one which is both mechanical and electronic and bent at 90 degrees as per the 91 -92 turbo g/box.
Perhaps if you could send an email address.   Mine is   peter.mahony@geindustrea.ge.com
