Ecu

Does anyone know if 1990 mr2 turbo ecu is interchangeable with a 1990 celica I am having trouble sourcing a gt4 ecu and wondering if i can use an mr2 one

    I have in the past. Gt4 ecu in an mr2 you loose power steering, but the other way round im not sure if you may loose air con. But the engine does run etc. Obv needs to be from the same series/rev. Ie:89-91, 92-93, 93+

    This not including the grpA with wta intercoolers. That adds more issues.

    Should work fine. GT4 Power steering is run off the engine belts, so has no integration to the ECU.
     
    As Just Ace Mentioned - Make sure the pinouts are correct. (If not, just need to do a re-pin of the ECU Plugs)

    Can get one from Japan for you if you want. No cheap options available right now though. Would be ~$260 and approx 2 weeks to get to you.
