SYD: Gen 3 Na + LSD S54 + accessories
Just bought a 2gr half cut so I'm looking to sell off my current drive train.
It's a 97 bathurst Gen 3 NA with 200000km on the clock. Gearbox has a factory LSD that works great. Has a 20k old Exedy hd clutch. Engine is flawless. Starts every time and runs very strong. Major service done when I bought it at 140k - timing belt, seals, water pump etc. Serviced every 10k or less with synthetic oil. Uses 9-10L per 100km city driving and doesn't burn a drop of oil. Never given me any trouble.
I'll be selling it with custom intake, stock exhaust w/ high flow cat, ecu, drive shafts and hubs. So it'll be as close as you can get to a half cut without the half cut.
Easy upgrade for a gen 2. But I think this would be super cool in an aw11. Since it's a few hundred kg lighter straight off the bat, I think with this engine, good suspension and semi slicks it should be at least 1 second quicker than my car at Wakefield which will put it in the 1'09 range! Awesome! Should be relatively simple as well since just about everything needed for the swap is included.
Car is still in one piece at the moment, located in Sydney so come and test drive while you still can. Won't be doing the engine swap for at least another month so I can't actually sell this till then. But good opportunity to see it run before I pull it apart.
Price: $1500 for the lot. Will split up if no one wants the whole package.
