track days

just wondering how do you go about heading out to the track and when do these happen in tas? is anyone else on here doing track days?
tried to find some info on baskerville but no such luck... obviously you would need to join up to a club or something to get access but what's the best way and how much would they cost roughly?! sorry for all the questions been struggling for any solid info

Depending if you just want to do a private track day or a club day.

Private day you just need to contact the track caretaker.

Club day you need club membership, cams l2s or higher license.

Ah ok, just thinking club day would be the go... sounds like I 'd better go my cams license first then.
Are you a member of a club or know of any clubs that do track days on a semi-regularly basis?

I'm a member of the North West Car Club we only do 1 track day at Symmons per year.
Get on the cams web site and check out the calender of events for Tassie should be able work out which car club you would like to join from there.
Most club day events around the state are multiclub events so you don't have to be a member of that particular club.
You need to be a member of a cams affiiated club before you can get a cams license
