Rev 1 and 2 came with the Gen 2 3SG(T)E.
The Aus spec engine put out 117kw @ 6000 RpM and 190Nm of Torque.
With 0-100 in 7.5 seconds and 1/4 mile of 15.7 seconds. Toyota Rate this at 220kms top speed, there have been reports of 240kms on a german auto barn
The Gen 2 Import engine put out 165kw @ 6000 i believe.
with 0-100 in low 6 seconds and quarter of 14 Flat
The Rev 1 came with 14's as standard, and upgraded to 15 inch 5 spoke rims from 92 onwards, there was only one model variate of the rev 1 and 2, no other name just the MR2, came with nice bucket seats, targa roofs, driving lights and a rear wing all standard, as well as aircon, power everything but suprisingly NO power steering ABS was also on the cards.
The Rev 3 and onwards the differences are very minor, Rev 3 got upgraded rear lights which are interchangable with rev 1 and 2 and a different wing.
There were 2 models in the Aus spec:
The Bathurst and the GT.
The Bathurst was basically a economical pack mr2, and had less features of the rev 2 mr2. But was more so sold as more as a 'Race' version then as a luxury sports car, and subsequently was around 30-40 kgs lighter
The differences were:
-Seats were different (not nice and as plush)
-NO Abs
-No front fog lights
-No centre glove box at the rear of the interior
-No power steering as opposed to the top spec GT model.
The GT Aus spec had the same features as the Jap spec GT minus the 3sgte and had some nice features:
-Leather seats/steering wheel/gearbox surround
-Fog lights
-ABS standard, power steering, power everything.
-Climate control.
In 94 came the Gen 3 3SG(T)E
Some nice differences in both Na and turbo form saw a small but nice power gain, uprated gearbox and better LSD on the turbo models.
Power was up in both engines
3SGE: 129kw @ 6600RPM (this was later changed to 125kw from 96 onwards as the engine didn't meet Japanese pollution rules).
Performance figures for the NA were relative in 1/4 mile to the gen 2, as the engine had to be revved 600 rpm higher to get the power and torque remained same @ 190nm.
0-100 was down to 7.2 seconds
3SGTE: 179kw due to revised turbo and more boost. Power rose from 220hp from the Gen 2 to 240hp.
1/4 mile got better with a mid 13 second pass.
The Rev 5 in Japan got the Gen 4 NA 3sge, pumping out 154kw @ 7000 rpm with VVTI, quoted 1/4mile time of high 14's
No Turbo models were sold locally, all have been imported from Japan. All Sw20s require to be run on minium 95 RON octane.

Other Facts:
