SW20 - Lower Ball Joint Query

My 1990 SW20 has flogged out front ball joints.It came with a spare that I believe is from Twos'R'Us which I tried to fit yesterday, but found the tapered section and thread are much bigger then the joint I removed from the hub/lower control arm. Need new bushing for rear control arm, is this the right kit to get?

My mechanic was installing my kirk engine mounts and said he noticed a bit of sway movement when he was test driving it and when he looked under the car at the rear control arm (i think that's what it's called), he said I need to replace these 4 bushing as it's worn. Strut Replacement 1990 JDM SW20 Turbo

Can someone help me with a couple of questions in regards to putting in some rear struts, I have a set of with lower King springs KTRL-11 and wonder if the stock strut inserts will be fine with the lower springs? And will this be OK on the front as well? And the second option is a set of Cusco strut..

Best place to go from buggered stock suspension?

Car is a 1990 mr2 and runs stock suspension (apart from lowered springs - Lovell's from Perth). The suspension is buggered - will need 3 new shocks. 3 new ball joints etc and the links aren't great either (I got this car cheap in case you hadn't guessed).
