Oil level warning light

Hi guys, I drive a 98' Bathurst and recently I have noticed the oil light coming on. It only happens when I'm on the freeway doing 100 km/hr and the tacho hits about 3k. I noticed that it stays on until I back off the power and the tacho falls bellow 2750. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks..

Turbo to I/C hose thoughts

Hi there, Thoughts on where to buy the rubber hose that goes from the hot pipe to intercooler in an SW20 (right side of the engine)? eBay seems to have them in a kit with other hoses and can probably find a silicone hose at supercheap that I can manipulate but keen to hear of something I hadn&..

SW20 turbo heavy duty clutch

Hi guys Going to be getting a heavy duty clutch installed. But want to know... Would there be a difference in heavy duty clutch types between a gen 2 and gen 3 3sgte? Or will the same typenof clutch fit both gens Thanks Sent from my CPH1725 using Tapatalk..

Shifter problems

Hey does anyone know if there is a difference between the shifter cable bracket on the gearbox for the e153 vs the s54? I used to have an s54 but went v6 and e153 swap and now the bracket doesn't line up with the shift mechanism properly and has already destroyed one cable so I would like to know if..

Downpipe recommendations

Maximum Power Achievable with GenII 3SGTE Exhaust Manifold

Does anyone have info on the maximum power that can be achieved using the stock GenII exhaust manifold with some good port matching? I need to use this for competition regulation purposes so not interested in arguments about the merits of aftermarket manifolds for example...

Hey guys, not mr2 specific but I know you guys are a wealth of knowledge. So I'm assembling a Garrett supercore with a turbine housing and noticed the threads on the housing go all the way into the exhaust flow section. Do these bolts need sealant? I'm pretty sure they didn't have any on disassembly..
