oil pump to block gasket

Just putting my oil pump and rear plate on the block. Would you recommend you use a gasket or just sealant? I've seen engines done both ways.I have non-genuine metal gaskets but I'm thinking maybe just a thin layer of sealant would be a better seal.Recommendations?Thanks..

I've got the first service coming up for my recently rebuilt 2nd 3sgte and I'm a bit paranoid n bla bla blah but I want the best of everything... I was looking at royal purple oil filters n they seem well made, anyone bought any of there products? Also whats the best brand n grade of motor oil to us..

exhaust manifold

Has anyone had dealings with the brand "hurricane" ? they show up on ebay for extractors, my reasoning for going for the extractors is s little weight shedding over the stock manifold as mine has a crack and they aren't too much more expensive than getting another stock manifold that I can find...

Eunos 800 lysholm supercharger

I know these are a very popular supercharger with some of the Nissan and other groups as they're relatively cheap for the amount of air the blow. Has anyone tried adapting one to a 4a, 1m or 3v? All I found was that they're very efficient and the eunos 800 uses a 1000cc type. Any other info ..
