idle drop down

93' MR2i have the problem, when i hold the accelerator, the idle up to 2000rpm, and it will drop down 200rpm.The idle never over 2000rpm, Anyone know what problem is it? Thank you !!!..

GT4 Engine into SW20

G'day all, I got news back from the engine builder and it's pretty grim.Scoring on the crank, oversize pistons needed and new camshafts.They reckon it's all fixable, but expensive. My plan now is to source a 3rd Gen GT4 engine and chuck that in...There's one in Sydney I hope to look at. My question ..

1990 SW20 timing belt tensioner.

So my poor mr2 has a blown head gasket and I'm in the process of replacing it, however I was expecting to have a hydraulic timing belt tensioner but it turns out I have the spring type tensioner. Syncros

My new box crunches into 3rd from 4th gear, but not from 2nd to 3rd. I'm giving it back to the gearbox place as soon as possible. I have an account with toyota so i can get parts at trade prices and i was wondering exactly what to get? Also which syncros should be replaced? ive been looking at this ..

Over torqued OEM head bolts

Help!! I have over tightened my head bolts. When I was torquing down my head bolts I took them to the specified torque. Once done the manual tells us to turn the head bolts an additional 90 degrees for the TTY spec. I accidentally set them to 180 degrees. Is this going to be an issue? Should I get n..

E51 lsd transaxle output shaft seals

Hi GuysHas anyone changed the L/H & R/H output shaft seals on a 1988 AW11 with 4agze and E51 LSD gearbox with the heavy duty drive shafts. I am having trouble getting the right ones as the auto parts stores keep supplying the wrong ones, Does anyone know the part numbers for them. Cheers..
