Voltage drop = noisy power steering

At idle my power steering unit is really noisy, increase revs and it stops. Has anyone experienced this and how did you fix it. A sparky friend said u can fit a voltage regulator (I think that's what he called it) but said it could be costly. The power steering unit works fine...

Static interference through the radio

Has anyone experienced really bad static through the radio? CDs are ok just the radio and it seems related to the power steering. It's not the original radio cassette just a cheap Sanyo unit single din. Will a new, quality unit be better or is there some other way of over coming the problem?..

Hey guys I am new to this forumn althought i have had my mr2 for 5 years. My mk11 mr2 GT with 140*** has just started blowing some smoke from burning oil, my mechanic has confirmed it is the head gasket on its way out (milky oil). Boot lock won't open..need help fast! *update* Fixed!

Hey Guys,the other day I went to open the boot with the key on my '94 GT-S Turbo and it just spun in the socket.Went to the manual release by the driver's seat and it has no effect..like it's been disconnected.Car is going in to WTF Autos for brakes,new Apexi air filter,oil change etc in a few weeks..
