How to undo car battery water cap?

I bought this century battery (model NS60LS) a while back, I'd like to check it's water levels and fill up if need be. But how do I undo the caps? Here's a pic ref of my battery. How to choose trigger wheel for COP setup?

I'm looking to eliminate the distributor when I convert to COP and I'm having a hard time figuring out which tooth setup to use on the trigger wheel? It will be used with an M48 ecu if that makes any difference...
