Hi, guys, picked upo a copy of this months JAPANESE PERFORMANCE magazine (UK MAGAZINE) and it had an article revealing the trd spec 86, its code named the GRIFFON and lapped a japanese circuit 1.8s quicker then a 458 italia. apparently they have a google video.. but engine is stock, but its shed 256..

My 86 test drive

My friends and myself hired out the figure of 8 at Mt Cotton driver training center today, and my friend somehow managed to talk them into bringing one of their GT86's. So I couldn't organise a test drive on my own but by chance I got to drive the absolute guts out of a gt86 today! Sorry for the ph..

Toyota released the pricing for the 86 this morning. It's certainly taken me by surprise, and is a far cry from the $50k+ that Toyota was demanding for the MR2 some 15 years ago!
