Someone told the owner of that car to go and get flocked..... so he did

Glenn- who told me to get flocked?? Lol.

Trav- my dash was (and still is) covered in a layer of dust from spinning off on the first day so it gave it that matte finish / suede look. But yeah I'll claim the race car dash. That story is better.

The picture of Adrians interior just looks that way as the picture is overexposed.

If my car isn't finished next year I might just have to turn up in my Wifes Impreza to give Aaron some stiff competition.

Then again though, Here's hoping he can bring down his slushdub and we can have the battle of automatic trans supercharged adubs.

It's been a hectic couple of days (no I haven't been sulking LOL) but I've finally got some time to post up a couple sentences.
First off as always, big thanks to Steve for organising yet another successful MTC for 2014 and everyone can agree by the looks of it. Great to see some old faces and new ones and hope it continues that way.
Missed out on the first 2 events but I definately made it up on the second day driving the car with no mechanical sympathy whatsoever, resulting in a couple spin offs, first one with Shaz in the car screaming like a banshee as I went in too hot at turn 1. Sorry Shaz :P, wish I had it on video!

With the Konis and RSR Race springs I was hoping to shave off 2 seconds but to my dismay I was 0.3 slowly than last year!
Driving was better than last year but I think a couple things let me down: leaving out the tyres to dry in the sun for almost a year (deserve jail time) and the engine was misfiring early day 2, after only 2 sessions but I overlooked it for the sake of cramming seat time to make up for day one, bad mistake. It wasn't until the morning I left Sydney that I diagnosed it:

Stupid phone cam wouldn't focus for some reason but there was no gap in the last spark plug, no. 2 (1-3-4-2?) so maybe it wasn't running full power. Personally I couldn't tell the diff at WOT lol. Maybe it overheated and curled?

At Marulan, an oil breather hole came loose as well but we (Pete/Steve) managed to patch it up ok.
One thing I def noticed was that braking power wasn't as good as last year, and my brakes were basically the same setup, once again pointing to the tyre performance. Buuuuut driving makes the most difference so thats no excuse
Most importantly tho, I had a great time and great memories were made and that's what matters :)

Some moah photos and videos coming my way :)
Dw Joe I've had my fair share of photos last year
And Yes Trav I've got the clip of Adrian spinning out in the Beams. I guess he couldn't handle the BEAMSSS hahah

Ohhh, the spark plug issue explains the stumbling at idle that you showed my at the meet in Sydney!

Like a banshee?? really?? sorry............should have warned you that I scream on roller coasters, lol.
