Would have loved to bring my car out but its a fair trek from Melb and can't get leave after Christmas holidays. So I'm unable to come watch even otherwise would have flown over for the day.

Get the car back from wheel alignment today so get to START working on it in prep for this.
Also have a set of NEW Bridgestone Potenza RE55s  225/50 16 $800
and two Khumho Ecsta XS 225/50 16s Used but not much almost like new.   $180
Can bring down to Wakefield.

I'm thinking of coming down with the EVO Steves on Sunday instead of Monday morning. Is that OK and is there additional cost if we do so?

Last question - do we need to have a fire extinguisher fitted to the car?

As I said, its the leave that's the issue otherwise I would have just flown over if it was on the weekend......its alright I'm sure someone will take some footage.
 
 

Well 3 days of backwards and forwards to the tyre place with more dramas this morning as tyres would not grip on machine . Take Another set of wheels over but too late and not enough ime to do it. SO Nothing at all done on car by me or them since they have had it, Great!
 

Just about ready over here. Been spending a lot of time at the shop (mostly helping Tree), and getting hardly any sleep.
Changed my front wheel bearings because they were deflecting under load. Pissed off the electronic boost controller and installed a Turbotech. Brake fluid flush, wheel alignment, etc.
Tried to install a new steering wheel but that didn't work out.
Only thing left to do is a bit of tuning. I went out last night to dial it in but I still need some more time with it. So Sunday night after I arrive at Wakefield I'll be doing that.

FML is all i can say. My list keeps getting bigger and bigger!
