Dwaine
I reckon I will be there too.  I have never done this sort of thing but it sounds like a lot of fun.
It will also be a good chance to meet a few people from this forum.

Pat has a point!
Good to see some entries are starting to trickle in.
The big horsepower Supra has paid entry and will be there. His wife is yet to confirm her AE86 will also be joining us in 2013.
Ken is back in the AW11 bigger and better than the 2013 event. Ken has taken advantage of the deposit option.
Pat will have his Tarmac rally SW20 after winning the free ticket at the MR2 Nationals (lucky Pat!).
Sharon is the first to enter the cruise session.
Robk is very close to joining in. Will be great to see this one running. That will be two black SW20's. A thirst is yet to confirm.
No doubt Knightrous will be back.
Mine will be there with some tests after the last round of mods expected in a few short weeks.
As was the case last year, we had Paramedics and fire marshals over the two days and the team at Wakefield work close with all aspects of the two days. Safety is of paramount and is addressed.
There was discussion of a regularity relay as part of the festivities. You do not have to scream around the track during a regularity. Its about consistency which greatly reduces risks. In a team event/relay, we run over an hour and pass a batten( or the likes) from one car to the next. This is repeated until the time has completed. This is could be one round of a team event. If people have some more idea's to add to a team/state or model challenge, lets hear it. AW verses SW verses MRS verses FT verses Supra is an option or state rep's are both options.
Other rounds could be each of the challenge rounds with the quickest time of the team nominated for a point structure. Maybe who can eat the most chicken wings! Anyway, just a thought and see where it leads.

It would be nice to stay for another day just to wind down a bit, check out the local scenery and recover from eating, especially for those who decide to take on the Ghost Chilli...(you have been forewarned)

That would not be a problem to do Tree. The only problem is you and your chilli burger. My butt was burning just watching you attempt it! Even funnier watching the events when we returned to the cabins.

Just about to fill in the entry form for this year. Just for clarificxtion does the $440 include the nights accommodation?

Also ,after going last year my son would like to join the event. He doesn't have an MR2 but has done the odd track day. He has a series 3 Rx7 13b turbo. Is entry available to cars other than MR2's. I did note a few ring-ins last year.

Your early thoughts would be appreciated. I have already organised the days off!!!

Hello Derrick,

You pay the same price as last year which is $390. Perfectly ok to have other cars come along. I have budgeted for 30 MR2's and 20 other marques. Look forward to seeing you there again. There are some changes to the reg's so mild street cars and standard street cars are in the same groups. The higher modded cars are in the Modified street and extreme street cars and race cars in the circuit class. You will be in the street class.
Thanks Gatesys! Hopefully we will have number swell over the next few weeks. If we do not, we will have to remove timing from the event to get control of the costs. As long as we have 25 cars, we will be ok.
I will sort out a list of entries on the first page and will sort something out on the website.
