Huge Thanks to all those who attended the MR2 Nationals 2013 in Hobart, Tasmania.
 
5 made the trip from Queensland, 2 from NSW, 2 from ACT and 6 from Victoria met 5 Tassy entrants to make for one FANTASTIC event.  5 other Tassy MR2 owners joined us at various stage of the event and along the way we met another 4 who either stopped to chat or tooted as they passed.

Bring on the MR2 Nationals 2015 ....... an announcement will be made soon on the date and location ..... watch this space!!!!  CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

On the Monday of the Nationals, the open to the public day at Baskerville turned out to be mostly for MR2's, and we just about had the track to ourselves making it a great Club event
Baskerville track is set in a valley surrounded by hills and although a similar length to Winton, it is not flat but has uphill sections the IMO makes it more interesting and challenging, including a blind corner over the skyline and a long straight finishing downhill to a sharp left-hander.
I personally had a ball there along with all the others, so if you ever get to Hobart check it out.

Congratulations for the organization of the event. I personally had a great time meeting and greeting with everyone over the few days. Great people and great times. Dinner was quite a laugh, the car show was really good but the driving was best. Had my first experience in a road registered MR2 driven on country roads. I want one! Driving Baskerville has always been on my bucket list and was a privilege to do so in Pat's Rally car. Really enjoyed helping Pat set the car up so it was handling nicely again and taking a few people out for some 'spirited' laps of Baskerville. No doubt this car will do a 1.04 or better on some new tyres.

Sorry I couldn't make it back in the end... glad to see you guys had a good run though... so many familiar places in the pics. Theres actually one taken from out the front of my old house and another about 100M from my mums place where my car's registered.....  would have been really good to show you guys some back roads ;-)
