Ah man I just realised I didnt change the oil pump seal. Atleast its easy enough to do with the motor out of the car. 
 
-edit- replaced the seal this morning took about 15mins.

So hopefully the motor is going in tonight, not holding my breath but heres a nice update photo for you all. I'm glad I painted stuff.

sounds very angry. wonder if the idle will be a bit better when warm....

yeh its awesome haha, i built the megasquirt and peak and hold driver, built the whole wireharness from scratch to plug into the stock RB. Amazing when you do the tests etc, but the feeling when you start it up, so awesome.
