Gday all.
After two gland nuts for the suspension struts. Koni sent me two with the thread pitch too small.
Cheers

Did you get the right Koni set?
Should be:

- Front: 8641-1220 Sport
- Rear: 8641-1221 Sport

I have never had a problem with the wrong gland nuts with those.
Do you still have the original gland nuts, and if so have you tried using those with the Koni inserts?
The ones Koni supply look slightly different but they may work.
If you don't still have them I could check and see if I think the stock ones might work. I have a couple of spare stock gland nuts you can have.

No, they don't work unfortunately!
I just went and had a look and tried fitting the stock gland nut to a Koni insert
I removed the seal from the old gland nut but the center is too small, and it won't tighten up enough.
If you really had trouble getting the right Koni gland nut you take it to a machine shop and get the the center machined out to fit.

Gday all,
Sorry for the late reply been busy.

Yeah it was odd koni sent me two gland nuts that fit the thread of the strut housing, but the other two dont. I'll seebif I can upload a pic. Oh and yes they're the same serial number.
I found someone on here that has them, redtarga. Cheers though.

Yeah it was like $100 extra just for shipping from twosrus

Update - haha yeah I just realized what you meant, redtarga. I couldnt wait to have the gland nut machined. I used a dremel to grind out about 8mm off the inside of the nut to fit over the koni. It wasn't a perfect fit so I used a "homemade" rubber seal to keep the strut housing oil from spilling.
