i've been trying the federal FZ201's lately. we have tried both these and AO48's on our MRS and found zero difference.
 
The only downside with the 201's (so far) is they are a bit heavier than most competitors.
 
we have some freinds using the Hankooks on their skyline race cars and they are happy.
 
commonly find tyres ideally suited to big heavy cars, aren't idea on small light ones.

I reckon I'll go the Toyo R888 or Kumho Ecsta V700

Terry has a point. The federals do perform much better on a lighter car than a heavier one, and this has been evident across their entire range.
 
Problem with the FZ201 is there really isn't a lot of available sizing.
