A mate of mine is driving one of these cars. For those of you that know Winton, which driver is in the wrong?

There has been some discussion about this on other forums though I would like some opinions from you guys

I'd share fault 75% to the silver car, 25% to the car with the camera.

The silver car is still facing straight when the camera car is building speed - so should be visible in silver car mirrors.
Silver car goes right in for the apex, leaving no room at all for any error from other drivers.

Silver cuts in so hard, you could see how the camera car driver would assume that with the difference in speed silver is allowing the faster car to pass, then at the point of no return leaves no room.

Camera car driver didn't factor in other drivers, 'style'?

So, make that 80% silver, 20% camera car.

What have other forums thought?

I don't know the track though most say that the silver EVO had the line, therefore right of way.
The camera car dive bombed

Looking at a map of the track I'd be surprised if the camera car could actually make the corner on that line.  He was very shallow and it looks like that corner needs a wider line - maybe not as wide as the EVO was taking it.  My opinion, both drivers need a "conversation" about practice days, mirrors, and track awareness.

It is 100% the camera cars fault.
It's just a club sprint day right? It's 100% up to the person passing to do so safely.
The car infront was driving the correct line, he doesn't have to pull over to let the camera car through the corner who was off the racing line for starters.

Yep 100% the camera car at fault. We would not even get away with doing crap like that in the HQ's and this is only a practice day

From the video it looks like the silver car cuts in but that is pretty much the normal line for there.
Ive seen other videos of this driver and he needs a serious talking too.

Yeah I have to agree, it was a pretty aggressive dive down the inside.
It's not 100% his fault but it's pretty damn close.

Its not like the evo was being waved a blue flag.

Unless theyre pros racing in different classes, I cant see how itd be the evos fault. Heck even in f1 they realise not to dive bomb inexperienced 'rookies' up the inside.

What's odd about the whole clip is, he couldn't catch the cars on the longer back straight but then on the short front straight his passed two of them easily and going for the third.

It was Duncans fault for sure.

Who is looking for cars passing when they're concentrating on turning into the corner?

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb......

The guy was asking Duncan to repair his car too.
