My 4AGE kicked the bucket today at Wakefield, after several hours of unrelenting abuse it started to lose power at the exit of turn two, by turn three the oil pressure gauge didn't look to flash hot. Limped back into the pits, funny noises from the engine :)
Guessing 8000rpm, significant G forces and 130c oil was too much for a 20yr old bigport.
Defiantly done a main bearing from the sounds of things and tbh I wouldn't be surprised if a ring land is ****ed too. Was running a pretty aggressive timing map.
Set a 1:15.3 on some old semi's while still running out of brakes on a somewhat dodgy alignment.
Will be aiming for flat 14's next time :)
