Ah. I just assumed bubbling coolant to be overheating.

Nope, mines been doing it for over 2 years and its never overheated once. Just keep an eye on the temp guage to see if it goes over half way, and if you're stopped in traffic for a while, flick on the thermo fan.

Ah, neat. Well she's only overheated once since the switch was installed, and that I'm assuming is because I had forgotten to check the coolant level on my way out. Getting to the meetup location will be a good test! I'm looking forward to meeting the gang :)

I'm going! Kristen is coming too. And the car will have a brand new battery! (currently stranded on oaklands rd...)
